Hey folks,

Wondering if anyone here has tried the newer Adata or other brand MicroSDHC UHS-I cards? And if so, can you confirm whether they perform significantly better in the Prime, vs the Class 6/10 MicroSDHC cards? These UHS-I cards are apparently made specifically for devices like ours, assuming it's not just another marketing ploy, and claim to be much faster than standard MicroSDHC cards.

I'm currently using a Class 4 32GB Kingston MicroSDHC in my Prime, but copying data to it (movies, music, console ROMs etc) is painfully slow. Obviously not an issue actually using the card IN the tablet, but as I frequently move large amounts of data back and forth, I would like something a bit faster. Took something in the range of 3-4 hours to move 20GB of data to the card last night, using a card reader, where I did the same data on a Class 10 Adata-brand card a while back in closer to half an hour.

Well transferring data on any android platform your best that Android us good for speed is class 6. Class 10 is like for your pc or laptop to transfer files onto the card.

I would have to say look more at ur card reader not all are made for high speed transfers no matter how much it has high-speed written on it. The protocols used mean more than USB 2.0 compatible. I had to track down a good card reader when I build my current box because I was trying to use Ready Boost at its best. Make sure your card reader supports PIO-4,5,6 and UDMA if it doesn't explicitly support it then ur not likely to see the high speeds ur class 4 or class 6 cards can do.

Most of my cards jumped from 8-12mb/s to 25+mb/s.
