Microsoft Launcher problems

Is anyone using Microsoft launcher?

I restored my backup and a lot of my apps kept taking me to Android store to open them after I install them. Anyone else having that problem?

I don't use it as default but have it installed and have no issues with it. What do you mean by restored from backup? Have you installed those apps that's taking you to play store? If the app is not installed the launcher will prompt you to install it. When you restored the launcher it just restores the app placeholders for that launcher not the actual apps itself.

Yeah even after I download them, the placeholder remains instead of the app.

As you can see, this app is already installed. The only way I got Android central to work is to put it back in the folder again.

No I don't, all the apps from the Microsoft launcher opens fine for me. Though I hadn't restored anything from backup. I had installed Microsoft launcher from play store and during launcher setup I just imported my One UI launcher layout to Microsoft launcher.

I'm a big Launcher fan and no issues on my unlocked S21 Ultra. I used Smartswitch to go from my S20 to the S21. I'll keep an eye out though...

Now this is weird.....

The frequently used apps all open up as normal, but when I select them from their location on my home screen, it still takes me to the play store.

I may try to reinstall an older backup and see what it does

I ended up pulling an older version and it worked fine

I agree, I do that with Nova
