I love this launcher and used it on my 6P. however, on my essential phone, it doesn't want to play nice. the phone freezes up intermittently, when it doesn't usng Nova launcher

This launcher thing really confused me. It appears to be (just) a different (and better (?)) way to 'launch' the apps. Sorry this transition to Android has been arduous, ie, setup all your screens and then load an app (launcher) and have to do it all over again, move a time/date/weather app to a screen and it pushes icons off the screen, like now; I want to scroll up to see the top of this post and can't figure it out, where is the 950's 'mouse button'... Plus I'm very aggravated with MS discontinuing 950XL support. Now I got a headache. Just ranting now, bye. Thanks, Phil.

I feel and appreciate your frustration. As a former W10M user, I miss it. A lot! But, that's old news. On the launcher, you are correct that all they do is give you another desktop. The MSFT launcher gives the phone a Windows look and feel. If you use Cortana you will like the daily task integration. This is the only launcher I use. If you havent figured it out yet, hold down on a blank area of the main page and you will see the options control gear to set things the way you want it.

This launcher may be the item that swings me to Android rather than to iOS when I finally give up my 950 XL. I use Cortana a lot, and I know the iOS version is really disappointing.

I suppose it's kind of trivial, but I love the daily Bing images and the way they coordinate my phone, PC, and Surface.

What are your favorite features of the Microsoft Launcher?

I'm liking the MS Launcher on my Pixel 2. However, has anyone else noticed after the last couple updates that when you search from the homepage it will only open the Bing browser without actually searching? Then you have to input the search again.

I joined the Launcher beta and I like what the improvements. The last update gave Cortana tighter integration. I can now make calls through Cortana. I do like that I can now resize icons and I make a lot of use out of the folders.

Sorry, I should have updated awhile ago. This issue was fixed a couple updates ago.

Absolutely love this launcher! It's clean and super easy to navigate. Use it on my S7 Edge and Galaxy Tab S 10.5 with no issues.

I like that they are making some progress with Cortana integration. I can finally make calls.
