Microsoft Translate on Mate 9

According to the change log and specs for Android 8.0 for the mate 10/10 Pro there is a feature called Microsoft Translate. This uses the camera to take a picture of text and translate it into your language of choice.
Well I recently updated my US Mate 9 C567 to the Oreo B321 build and there was no translate feature, I thought this was due to no AI support in the 960 chip set. So today I found that there is a stand alone app in the play store from Microsoft for this feature. It works Perfectly and it is lightning fast!
So now the only thing my Madte ( does not have over the mate 10/10 Pro is AI support.

Don't have the updated camera or the 2k screen of the regular Mate 10. Still, this is a nice fine and I'm still very happy with my Mate 9, I don't plan on getting the Mate 10 till the price comes down.

I agree, $900 for a device is too steep for me, I'm very happy with my Mate 9 and don't feel the urge to upgrade. I may pick up a 5T to mess with but I won't ditch the Mate.

True about the screen. The mate 9 is only 1.92k.

The price is pretty steep. Mate 10 is nice but nowhere twice as good, as the price suggests

Depends if atnt offers a great deal I might get it when it's released

Gonna spend on a $500 phone to mess around with ?

Probably not but it just needs to work fast and accurate
