I searched but can't find this specific explanation. I have a new android, and want to transfer everything from my old android to the new one, from a OnePlus 1 to a OnePlus 2. When setting up the 2, users have noticed there wasn't a selection for googles typical sync. When i logged in with the device, the apps appear on the "my apps" list of the Play Store, but they didn't automatically download or bring their specific data/settings.
I downloaded Backup & Restore per the recco of peeps on the oneplus forums. I managed to select the apps i wanted to send over the WiFi (a new feature apparently) and then sent them. Both phones, through Backup & Restore, said they were sending and receiving about 400mb of material. At the conclusion the apps went away and I can't find the apps on the new phone. I do however see a single 46 mb "base.apk" file in the file transfer utility when i plugged it into my Macbook Pro.
Where did I go wrong? There has to be an easier way...!
