Milestone works well EXCEPT as a phone

Help! I am having a serious problem with my 2 month old Milestone. Apps work great, everything else good, but the phone freezes on occasion (much worse when connected to a Bluetooth) Telus no help at all. Any suggestions?
 
Too many apps installed?
Task manager?

Telus suggested removing all apps-still happened.

Unit mostly seems to freeze on closing a call. No indication of a problem until I try to call out. The call screen displays, timer starts but the call doesn't connect.
Incoming calls get dead air.

Personally I think it is a network connectivity issue,but Telus denies the possibility (of course).
 
Issue has been resolved. Telus reset something in their network software. Said it was an issue related to moving from Blackberry to Android.
