I have a Milestone X on a regional carrier running 2.2.2 that is rooted. I got a notification of an ota update that goes to gingerbread and am on the fence about taking it. If I do take it, I am sure I need to unroot right? And then will I still have all my apps and such or will I be starting over. I would also be wanting to root again, will Gingerbreak work again or will I have to find something else. If the update is not worth it, since I have no issues with what I have then I will pass. I don't want to fix it if it isn't broken. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
