I'm new to milk. First time it played thru gear s and now it only plays thru my note. For music app you can specify to play on s or control phone. How do you do that on milk?

I was wondering the same thing. Powering off your phone will certainly work. The other option I just thought of is maybe turning your phone on 'silent'?

the music app will only play music on the s if its downloaded to the s.....am i seeing that correctly?

I get a network error trying to use milk music when the Bluetooth is not connected and when it is connected it just plays music through the phone.

On the gear s: go into settings> connections> bluetooth> bt headset

I paired a bluetooth headset and clicked the media to go thru the bt headset. Milk music played through the headset not the phone.

When the headset was powered off, the music played through the watch.

Bluetooth on my phone was off the whole time.

When bluetooth on the phone is on, the watch controls the app on the phone and the music plays from the phone.

if not bluetoothed to phone, how does it find your music on the phone?
oops, i see milk music, not music app

I have the separate number for the phone. So when I'm around the phone and bluetooth is on it uses my phone (and phone number)... if my phone is at home, or bluetooth is disconnected, it uses its own number for data and such.

I turned the Bluetooth off on my note 4. forwarding all calls to the Gear S. I have the milk app running on my Gear app via Bluetooth stereo headset. When I turn off the headset it plays with no issue through the Gears S.

so i paired an external bluetooth speaker to the gear....i can hear the stock crap in the music player through the bluetooth speaker, but when i go to the milk it is still playing through the phone....am i missing a setting? in the bluetooth setting under the paired speaker i do have the media audio checked....is there some setting in milk i've missed?

i've turned off the speaker and turned it back on to no effect.....i'll restart phone and watch and see what happens

Weird. I just reset mine. Let me go through the process again.

so it works as long as the milk app is not closed. the minute i closed it and turned it back on it was right back to the phone. so looks like you would have to jump through the headset hoops everytime you reopen the milk app.

I can't even get it to that anymore. It's the phone or nothing.
