When it comes to the environment your phone is in can it cause excessive battery drain. I can turn off mobile data and put my honor into ultra powered mode and after a few hours the battery has dropped 10+%.

This literally only happens at my place of work. When I get home I am at 20% battery with 1:15 of sot.

Yet when I am any where else like home I consistently get 4+ sot and still have 25+% battery.

Do you have a weak cell signal at work? What do you see on your battery stats, any process/app using an unusually high percentage?

Everything is normal. I haven't noticed poor signal. What about massive amounts of electrical equipment that is always on?

What about snr? You can have good signal but poor snr which can cause a significant battery drain

I agree, it is. I thought that my work signal was bad but I went somewhere tonight that was terrible! I was only there for like almost 3 hours and I went from 96 to 70%. In just 3 hours and my phone was warm for the first time ever :(

Are there wifi networks near your work that you can't connect to? There's a setting somewhere that always scans for open networks and if it's scanning networks and failing to connect in idle it will drain fast

I definitely agree that the environment in which the device is situated could cause significant drain. A good sign is noticing an improvement when you are home - making it stand to reason that the variable at fault here is the location of the device.
