I have it on my Chromebook, but I run it through Ubuntu. It's very simple to get Ubuntu on a Chromebook using Crouton, and you still get to keep ChromeOS, just back everything up before you do it as it wipes it clean.

Superbly! I have the cinnamon version myself. YouTube has plenty of videos showing it off. And MineCraft is not in the slightest bit laggy!
