Huh... Following those links, I've ended up with Fennec/ Aurora on my phone, not Chrome.

Its a themed Miren Browser. Had it when it first came out. Its slow due it being last updated in 2011 Feb - May.

Chrome is not open-source and likely never will be, but the software it's built on (Chromium) is.

I was referring to chromium, sorry for the mix up. But ya, it just builds the unit tests for now :-(
