Mirror to Touchscreen Monitor

Does anyone know if it would be possible to mirror my android phone to a Windows 8 touchscreen, if said touchscreen had HDMI input? Also, if it would mirror, could you control the mirrored display with the monitor by touching it? I have rooted Galaxy Nexus, and Microsoft Surface RT (I doubt RT could do it, but am curious if other Windows 8 tablets, or All-In-One's. or even a touchscreen monitor could handle this). I would love to plug my phone in (either USB, or via MHL ->HDMI), and control it with my tablet/monitor - just curious if this is even possible. Basically want to take the buggy bluestacks out of the equation, and just run my phone OS from my touchscreen PC.
