Miss this phone

Man, I have an old v30 as a backup phone, charged it up the other day, and started messing with it. It was a great phone, and is still pretty decent. I miss LG also. To bad they couldn't market a phone to save their lives.

I'm also disappointed that LG is discontinuing phones. I had a V20 that still to this day had the best sounding audio. That inbuilt DAC was phenomenal for listening to FLAC and WAV files using high impedance headphones.

I still have my V30 from 2018. I threw the device one day so the upper part of the screen cracked, there by rendering it useless for trade in or anything else. In late 2019, I switched to the Galaxy Note 9 for my daily driver. That being said, when I used it, it was a fantastic device. I liked how simple the UI felt, yet able to be customized. The battery life on the device was unreal at the time. I still use the device as a backup. The battery is pretty worn on it however after 3 years.

I went from being an LG fanboy to Samsung. That being said... I still like LG. Sad to see them gone. A lot of people didn't like their Android skin, but I always thought it was quite nice. I tried getting into a G8 back into the day and just couldn't do it. The V30 was way better. Better battery, screen and sound. Hated that "all display speaker," on the G8. Glad they never tried to revive that.

The V30 is at the top of the list of my all time all around favorite. Followed by The V60, Nokia Lumia 925, and the Moto X Pure Edition. LG was my favorite phone line of all.

I LOVED the Nokia Lumia line as well! One day if I ever get enough money I want to snag a yellow Nokia Lumia and just have it as a back-up phone to play with.
