Missed calls

Over the last few days people have called me but I never new it the phone never rang or said missed call. I took my sim put it in the lumia 900 had different people call me and every call was received so this leads me to believe it's the HOX and not the service has anyone else experienced this?

I also have been having the same problem and I too live in the DFW area. I have noticed that its not a common problem on the ONE X (AT&T) which leads me to think it might be the Dallas area and surrounding cities.

Now take the sim back out of the Lumia, put it in the HOX, and have the same people call you. I'm betting every call will be received. If you are going to conduct tests, make sure your tests are meaningful.

I've had these situations in the past with every cell phone I've had, and its always some transient problem that is never adequately explained. The testing you do only makes sense if you test both phones the same way.

It can be any number of things, from your phone not getting a good signal at that particular time, to tower overloading, to sim misconfigured, or your phone's ringer getting accidently turned way down. I've never been able to pin these events down.
