Missing app icon

Took the plunge today and got the s9+. My s7 broke and was using a s5. I am missing an app icon. In the app store it shows the app as being downloaded and when I click open, it opens. I deleted and redownloaded the app and its still not there. It's the cruise critic all Any thoughts?

Check the "home screen settings" you need to TURN IT ON

Tried that and other apps. I have installed appear just not this one.
