Missing app?

There was a home screen icon for Amazon shopping and it has disappeared from my Note 8. It's still available on a tablet. How do I get my icon back? I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still not available. I just don't have the icon {shortcut} available.

It will be in your app store, I'm not familiar with the Note 8 tablet but usually you swipe up from the bottom of the home screen or hold down the app deawer icon,, then hold the app and drag it back to the home screen.

On my Samsung tablet the app drawer is at the bottom of the home screen on the right hand side, it's a square of dotts.

I know, but it's gone.

When I install again it says already installed.
I suppose I should contact Amazon directly.
