Missing Feature?

On my wife's Note 4 you can select text from smart select and "paste" it anywhere. My Note 5 doesn't seem to have this functionality. For instance on the Note 4 I can smart select a section on text and "copy" it into a text message. If I do that now it just saves it as an image. Am I missing something? Or did they remove this?

With the S-pen close to the screen, press and hold the button.. this will allow you to select, rather than capture.
