missing "microphone" on keyboard

I am missing the microphone icon on my keyboard to use when you want to speak a text message and then it will write it for you.

I had it before but now it went missing.

How can I get it back?

It's not listed in your keyboard app preferences? You should be able to enable/disable it from there.

On Gboard it's listed as Voice Input Key.

I just checked this setting to make sure mine looks like this and I still get no "microphone".

I don't see the mic in the main body of the keyboard but in suggestions. And on your screenshots I don't see any suggestions.

Suggestions strip is under Text Correction. See if that's enabled.

Press and hold the smiley face on your keyboard, if it's anything like Samsung that will pop up a menu showing different options for that button. Easy short cut to keyboard settings and the microphone should be there.
