I had this problem and just found the answer today. The photos and videos are probably in the LOST.DIR folder and be named random numbers. Copy them over to a separate folder on your hard drive & do a batch file extension change to .jpg. The larger files are probably videos and you'll need to manually change the file extension on them to .mp4. If you have a lot of video files it may be easier to put them in a separate folder and do a batch file extension change on them. I just had a few, so I did them manually.
