Missing Settings Options

I feel as though the standard Android settings menu is not doing justice for the GS4 Google Play Edition. I want to be able to change the timeout and dimming of the capacitive buttons but cannot figure out how. I also bought the S-View flip cover and don't want it to unlock the phone automatically when I open it but I also don't want to have to put more security than just a slide lock. It is frustrating because I feel like these would be available on the standard GS4.

I don't know about the stock s4, but these are definitely not part of stock android.

I realize that these are not in the stock android settings. That is why I made the post. I am frustrated and was wondering if anybody knew of an app that controlled these things.

I was actually impressed that the capacitive buttons were lighted at all; I assumed they would be have been completely dark on the GPE version.

You might try Lightflow. It's designed to control the notification LED, but will attempt to control any LED on the device (especially if you're rooted)
