My 2nd week with HTC One....

Let me confess O:-) i m missing hell lots of feature of the ****ty TouchWiz.....

Left to right swipe to call... and opposite for SMS...
Smart Stay....
Ease of inserting things/text in sms....
Copy paste was very easy... clipboard was very handy....

So Kindly Help....

1.How to share apps .... I used to send App Play store address to friends directly from App Drawer .. Share App feature
2. Is there any way to insert Address Book Contact (As Text not vCard) in sms ??
3. Where is the clipboard....?

Looking forward for your valuable inputs....

Regards,
Avijeet

These are exactly the points I when I say you need to take EXTRA STEPS with hTc/Sense. I love swiping left to right contacts, I thought it was android feature but found out it's TouchWiz when I got the One.

1 & 2. Never shared Apps/Contacts, so I have no clue.

3. I remember posting a thread about CLIPBOARD and no one seemed to know. I agree it's a PITA entering passwords, etc.

Smart Stay....

It kinda used to work for me. But. FWIW, I haven't tried it out on my HTC One, but supposedly this app work the same way as the Smart Stay:

Screebl Lite

Ease of inserting things/text in sms....

Can you give an example? I am not sure I get that one.

Copy paste was very easy... clipboard was very handy...
.

I guess it's subjective and to tell ya the truth I don't remember how my S3 used to handle this, but the One is fine as is.

There are things I miss that touchwiz had that sense doesn't. Clipboard for one. But just about everything that touchwiz has can be found in the play store.

Smart Stay worked perfect for me on my S3 but not so much on the S4. It worked, but had to be in bright light for it to work correctly but my daughter doesn't know about that feature yet for her to complain...and I'm not telling her! :)
