Missing videos after transferring from Apple

I like how the setup manager on my HTC One told me I can transfer all my data from the iPhone etc etc. At first all seems to be there HOWEVER I can now see that none of my videos that I shot with the iPhone previously can be found on my new shiny toy. Not trying to make a fuss but these are memories that I cannot afford to lose for no good reason. Can anyone tell me if there is somewhere else I should look for them apart from the gallery app or any other way I can get them on the phone. If windows phones can make my videos move I do not see why Android cannot. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It can be possible that it's due to the iPhone's video format. I recommend trying to manually drag the movies to your phone and put it under a new folder called "videos" and see if you can play them.
If you cannot play them then look for an iphone to mp4 video converter tool online so you can convert them and then move them to your HTC phone.
