MIUI Ported to the X

Also with QCA, the settings all stick now. It was told to me by the dev in an email that once the set cpu is saved to profile, you back out and go into advanced-boot and set at boot, but change it to 60 seconds. He says it most likely, because of the custom ROM(ofc) needs extra time to give su permissions at boot, set and run the config all by itself during the startup process instead of fighting in the bootup line with everything else. Im always at 1.3 in System-About Phone and 300/1273 in the app. This was all settled a day before the 1923 update and has stuck thru the update.

How is your battery life since you're overclocked all of the time?

well I messed something up.. first off like a dumbass I forgot to unzip the sbf file.. like a dumbass I just renamed .sbf.zip to .sbf.. didnt work.. duh! So once I unzipped it, it flashed fine. Then it bootlooped like normal - so I pulled the battery and tried to get into stock recovery - (power / home, then search) no luck.. just sat there at the Triangle with the exclamation point. SBF again.. same deal. So not I am going back to .340 to see of that doesnt get things running.. crap..

Took me less than ten mins to re-run the script mods(including the reboots needed) and Im back where we were before running smooth on awesome batt life. Even with wi-fi always on. And my two homescreen widgets. Jakes mod, V6supercharger and fastest.sh are all running good in the hood.

Nice, I had to erase data and flash it again which went smoother than my last hickup.

Overall I get 1.25% extra help from JDU, QCA helps about .80%, and depending on light to moderate usage w/ WiFi on, 2 widgets and scripts running at boot I can get 12hrs or so. But I plug in when the warning hits at 10% so maybe add an hour or two to that. It's always gona be about usage, and what you have running behind the curtains.

On a heavy usage cycle w the above I get maybe 6-8. Heavy meaning Im back n forth texting, web surfing, playing music, etc. A wise thing I found to do is when you're done w an app hold the Back key until MIUI tells you it successfully closed the app. Then hold the home key and run the app killer to frag the memory so its not always using power to compile things.

Anybody else getting the "moving files to sd card" on every reboot?

It's a built in SD migrator, as some devices MIUI rests on, do not have as much internal storage as our X's do. So it frees up internal space for those devices. We dont have to worry since we have 8gig internal. Its the same size each time if u get a chance to notice when it does its thing(quite fast).

the green charging light sucks at night.. trying to figure out the whole center, left and switched mod thing.. I added them all (not sure if I should have) but it switched the clock and status icons.. maybe because switched was last :)

Anyway to turn it off?

I sent out a inquiry..

Update..in Root Explorer, go into /data/sdcard/, delete what is in there if you do not need it(most likely not), or move it to another folder. Then you can back out and go into File Explorer>SD Card and move it around as you wish. I had a few image files from old themes in mine, got rid of the folders and havent seen the message after 3 boots.

i noticed the 10% battery increments are back instead of the 1% previously. Is there a setting for that?
