MKBHD review of the LG G4

One thing is clear from reading reviews of newer releases, they all hate Lollipop.

I haven't read much hate for Lollipop. What's there to hate? Better UI, smarter software, better resource management - I guess the decision to pull out "silent" notifications is annoying, but not really sure I'd hate an OS for that.

That's what kept me from the G3. Hopefully not the case here.

it's the worse ... I'm having a better time with it on my Nexus 4, but it's pretty much ruined my S4. granted it's an older device and I'll be upgrading soon enough, but it really sucks compared to KK IMO

Great review from MKBHD as always
The phone is great. My only cons are the back speaker which sounds bad to me, and the bad mic when taking video.
The camera on both the S6 and G4 are superb
Those who are getting the phone enjoy!

Having to remember to put my phone in 'priority' just so I can hear my alarm is super annoying. Since it is a Lollipop feature, I guess the S6 is the same. This is one occasion where I wish the manufacturers did mess with interface.
