Yep, with these reviews, it seems the new X will have the similar battery life for me as the 2013 X.

Same here. The battery on the old x met my needs with very rare exception. That's a tradeoff I'm willing to make vs the tradeoffs of getting a g3 or similar.Which is good for me as my OG Moto X works great for my usage pattern.
Mileage depends on how you use your phone ..I get close to ,4hrs screen consistently on my 2014 moto x (I have one)

What were you doing to get to 4 hours SOT? I don't see any apps or games in your battery usage screenshot. Did you just leave it on a static web page or something? The usage statistics look like you just had it sitting on your home screen with brightness all the way down. That's not really using the phone. I'm not saying you did that I would just be interested in your usage breakdown of apps games etc since there are no apps or anything other than phone services, Google play services, WiFi etc listed in your battery usage screenshot..Mileage depends on how you use your phone ..I get close to ,4hrs screen consistently on my 2014 moto x (I have one)

It's just odd that you are claiming almost double SOT (or at least 2 hours more) of what MKBHD and AnandTech said the Moto X provided(about 2.5 hours SOT). They both are professional tech reviewers and did extensive testing. I'll be interested to see what other people are getting..Nope used it normally like I always did some browsing lots of google plus, was on LTE whole day, YouTube videos ..screenshot is not showing the whole list of apps used they show up if you scroll down ..over the weekend I will attach more screen shots by scrolling that will show all the apps used
Couple more screen shots from different day, these were taken over weekend ..on weekdays I have plenty of battery left at the end of the day 40%, as Im busy with work and don't have time to use it for 4 hrs in the day, most of work day I don't even wake up my phone just check notification on active display, that's it.

Yea I'm just afraid I would be on the low end of that spectrum. If most people end up getting 4+ SOT I might have to end up getting one or at least more seriously considering it. I got about 3.5 hours max on my 2013 Moto X, but more like 2.5-3 hours SOT normally. I don't want to go back to that situation..Like i said mileage varies from person to person based on usage patterns. Other reviewers like JR from computer world said he is getting 3-4 hrs sot, ZDNet reviewer was also getting better results than that. For me personally im getting better results than my og moto x with which I usually get around 3- 3:30 hrs sot.

I'm pretty sure the old one have more battery life, so very likely you're experience will be even worse this time. It probably isn't the right phone for you. Maybe wait for the next Droid.Yea I'm just afraid I would be on the low end of that spectrum. I'm content with my G3 at the moment I just like to keep my options open. I really enjoyed the 2013 Moto X outside of camera and battery life. I guess I had to high expectations for the 2014 variant..I'm pretty sure the old one have more battery life, so very likely you're experience will be even worse this time.
