MLB At Bat 2013 changes payment options, makes interface improvements | Android Central

Yikes, they bumped the price up to $20 this year? That is rough. This is probably my all time favorite app, but I just can't see myself spending that much $$ on it. $15 was too much in my opinion, but I paid that for the last 2 years anyway.

Does anyone have any suggestions for another way to view in-game stats? The CBS Sports Scoreboard website is decent on my computer, I wonder how that would work on my Android device. Do they have an app with similar capabilities?

Actually, you paid 20.99 the past two years. Remember, the app cost 5.99 all by itself...then you still had to buy "premium" access...or at least that's how it worked for me.

Ah, well, never mind then. :)

lol, that was the second time I heard that, so I actually had to check to confirm ;)

I am not getting suckered into paying that again this year either. Score mobile - now called The Score is a pretty awesome app for play by play. And some games even feature live commentary or twitter comments. You may want to try it and see if you like it.

Any updates on this? I will check out The Score... but I have not found a decent gametracker yet. The ESPN app has one, but it is not that great.

Sportacular is my go-to sports app... just not for in game-MLB stuff ;)

CBS Sports just updated their app to include a MLB Gametracker. It is decent, a bit slow, but better than nothing.

It's also a pretty slick looking app - I think I am going to roll with it for a bit...

Cool, I was wondering if T-Mobile MVNOs would have access to this.

I am not so sure that my tablet version is eligible for some reason though. I may have to try tethering it to my phone and reinstalling.
