Has there been any "official" admission that MOB30D is the latest build for the Nexus 6 or any "official" explanation of this logjam of April updates? I've read rumors of a new radio in 30D (the radio from the N preview, in fact) that needs carrier approval, but I haven't read anything that nudges those rumors over into the land of fact. (Which isn't surprising if carriers are involved, but still.)

Also, it's been like 2 weeks since the 30D builds were taken down from and then returned to the factory images list but still no sign of an OTA zip to MOB30D from MMB29X? It'd be nice to know that other N6 owners have received OTAs from both V to X and then X to D (especially if they're T-Mobile customers;)).

Given that https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images lists the MOB30D as the latest build for the N6, I'm not looking for any other official announcement.
Yeah, that's kinda why I put the word inside quotation marks. I know Google's not going to address the updates directly, and as you point out T-Mobile's determined to play dumb about updates in general. Still, I was hoping someone might have come across an explanation from a credible source online that I've missed, like Hildenbrand here or Amadeo at Ars Technica or even a paragraph or two from a developer's blog.

As credible as it can get (next to Google of course) [Update: M5C14J For The Pixel C] Nexus Factory Images With April's Security Updates Are Now Available - given AP didn't seem to know why it was taken down, I'm not holding my breath on other sources :)
