MMS and 3G Issue

Has anyone else noticed that 3G no longer automatically turns on and off to send or receive MMS after the GB update?

I have to manually turn on 3G now every time I want to send or receive a MMS. Yes, I have auto-retrieve checked as well as data roaming and 'enable always-on mobile data is checked in the wireless settings.

I have already done a factory reset to solve another issue, which it did. I didn't notice this until after GB and the reset.

Did another factory reset. Still doesn't turn on 3G to send messages. It will send them if I manually turn 3G on though.

Was that a feature I made up in my head? Or is it supposed to work that way?

No its a feature that is not functional and another bug we have to add to HTC list to fix.
