Mms and sms issue

I recently have been having 2 separate issues with mms and sms.

Issue 1: sometimes messages will come in and instead of being properly sorted will show up on the sender side of the screen. Happens with both sms and mms. Originally was thinking it had to do with ares of poor reception but it's happened in multiple locations etc now.

Issue 2: sometimes when I send a message it will disappear from the screen and instead be under "unidentified address" or something similar to that.

I have a sprint g4 and use the stock messaging app.

Has anyone else been experiencing this and know how to fix or prevent it? Thanks

Definitely odd behavior. Trying clearing the application cache, and then data if the first suggestion doesn't work. If you're still having problems, you can always try an alternate texting application. I used the default application for a little while, but I was underwhelmed, and switched back to Textra which I had gotten used to from my Turbo (which had a horrible default text app). I can understand not wanting to to have to relay on a third party app for something so simple, but sometimes.....
