For the past week or so every time I try to send an MMS message it says. This doesn't happen with SMS messages. Anyone else having this same problem or know what I can do to fix this?

Thanks

There are a number of reasons this happens:

  1. The size of the file is too large.
  2. The network is experiencing problems.
  3. Since you are with Verizon (seen from screenshot) you may be close to your data limit.

Try and send it at another time or go through your messaging settings and split the message up and have the app convert it into (2) messages or to MMS.

Not sure what you mean about trying to send it MMS. I thought all picture messages get sent MMS. I doubt it's the network because I have received this error multiple times in multiple areas, and it just started about a week ago. The file isn't large - it's just a regular picture that was automatically re-sized, and I am nowhere close to my data limit.

Mine did the same exact thing. No matter if it was three words or 50. Had to power off and power back on and then it worked.

I had the same exact thing happen as well and took several rounds with Verizon and Motorola to get it fixed. The reboot may work occasionally but I wouldn't be surprised if it happens to you again. Wiping the cache partition prevented this for awhile but eventually what I've head to do is turn on then off airplane mode whenever I get that MMS didn't send message and then it always sends

I had/have this issue from time to time at home. For me, its verizons signal. I have very bad service at my house. Although, lately I've been getting better cell service and things are working smooth at home. This.. after nearly 6 years of complaining to Verizon. FINALLY.
