Mms not downloading

I have been sent 2 mms from a friend, both about 300kb but they have failed to download. Am I missing something in the settings? I sent a photo to myself which delivered ok.

Hi, if you can send them and receive them then it's not in your settings. This sounds more like a network issue rather than a phone issue.

If you urgently need the pics I would advise sending them by email, if not just wait and you will probably find they will auto download in the next 24 hours.

Thanks, I thought maybe the photos were too large. Network does seem a bit slow tonight.

Idk if you're using your data connection but when I'm connected to WiFi I sometimes have trouble receiving pics.

yeah make sure youre using mobile data to recieve mms mate (turn wifi off)

I ran into the same issues. Are you using Juice Defender by any chance? Like another guy said, mobile data is required and Juice Defender shuts it down when on wifi. Turn wifi off and recheck. You should be good to go.

Yes I am using juice defender, will try turning it off. However it does seem strange that some mms are coming through and others not.
Ok just turned wifi and juice defender, still not downloading.
I bumped into the sender at work today and asked her to resend the mms, the smaller one delivered immediately, but the larger one (291kb) didn't.

I run into that occasionally too. I usually exit the app and then shut it down via task manager and then reload.
