MMS not working Sony Z3 Wind mobile Canada

Hi everyonez

My first time posting hoping to find someone that might be able to help!

About a month ago i bought a Sony xperia Z3 cause my Z10 went for a swim. When i got home and connected to Wi-fi i noticed there was an apdate available to Lollipop 5.0.2 and immediately went through with the update. Not sure if the update is what cause the problem with MMS since i never had a chance to send/receive any MMS before the update but even after configuring multiple apn's i was never able to get MMS to send or receive.

I tried downloaded an app called textra, no luck.

Is there a known issue with lolipop 5.0.2 that caused MMS issues. Is there a fix?

Im patiently waiting on the 5.1 hoping that might be the answer to problem! Let me know if i can provide more info. Any help is really appreciated. Cheers!

make sure your APN settings are set up EXACTLY as the carrier advises. get the APN settings from their site or call or go into a carrier store. beware of getting them from random forums postings.

Thanks for your reply, to confirm i did get all information directly from carrier website and also called in to their technical support to troubleshoot. I cleared all APN settings and created new a new one following their technical support agents steps. They couldnt fux it and ended up escalating to tier 2 support, im going to follow up.

I have the same problem with mine but it also happens when I use emoji, the messages just send blank and mms messages come up with an error message on the other end. However when using hangouts for sms and mms it doesn't seem to happen. I tried using chomp sms as well and it worked well too.
