MMS on Edge after FOTA.

I was wondering if anyone has seen an improvement on sending MMS Pictures via Edge. My friend, who is in an Edge only area, ran the update and granted they do send now but it takes 3 - 5 mins to send.

I did hear something about improvements to MMS but I'm not sure exactly what was improved. And I suppose it may take a few minutes to send a image over EDGE depending on picture size. Though 3-5 minutes sounds high.
