MMS over Wifi

Hey folks it's been pretty dead on here. Anyway maybe I'm late, but I can now send mms/pics/group text over wifi. I clearly have data turned off and it still works. Just wondering if this is newish or am I just late to the party.. Good day!

Wild guess here, I think I read something about this, and it's a TMobile thing. Or maybe I'm remembering wrong. (Bricked my main phone about 5 times today, so it was kind of hectic.)
