MMS Problem - An issue seeing the menu, NOT sending

I have had my Droid for about 3 weeks now, with no issues. In fact, I love the phone... until today. I received an MMS message and I wanted to forward it along to someone. So, I click on it to make it go to its own separate screen... and bam, it goes. However, there is no menu, no way to get to the menu, no options, nothing. If I hold the screen for half a second or so then the menu will flicker, but nothing stays. Even hitting the actual "menu" button does nothing. What can I do? All I want to do is forward a damn message!

Can anyone help me? All I want to be able to do is see the menu in an MMS photo like I should.
