MMS Problem

Hi

When i receive a MMS from someone everything seems ok.

But if the MMS contains a Picture and i click it, the Picture is then opened in some sort of video viewer and it will not display .

All i get is a White screen and if if press it, i get a movie slider at the bottom that indicates that what i have opened is a 5 second movie.

Pushing play does not do anything. Does not show Picture and does not move movie timer.

If i long press the Picture and select to save it, i can see it by going to folder viewer and finding it there. If i select the Picture there, it get's displayed as it should. I was thinking that i had a bad file link that linked Pictures to the video viewer but it selects Picture viewer allright when going thru the folder viewer.

Anyone else had this problem.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you certain the sender sent a photo rather than a video? Make sure they're sending a photo. If they accidentally took a video instead of taking a picture, then tried to send you that video, the system might compress it severely (since the filesize limit for MMS is about 1 MB), leading to what you're seeing.
