Yes android auto does but I drive a Jeep Wrangler and use a Bluetooth speaker. It's a very basic model wrangler, no technology. Manual transmission and soft top.
The Android Auto app should still work, though. You just have to activate/deactivate manually, but it should still work on your phone and through BT audio.
Android auto notifies you of a text message but you need to click on the message to hear it. Shouter Pro will automatically read a SMS when received but not a MMS message. I am looking for an app to automatically read ,both a SMS and a MMS text when received.
Does the V20 have a 'Car Mode'? Not sure why it wouldn't read MMS... Also, does Android Auto respond to voice? I know it's an extra step, but that could also work.

No the V20 does not have a car mode. I don't think Android Auto responds to voice. Its the extra step that will get me ticketed for using the phone while driving. I sent Shouter an email but from what I have heard they are shut down and do not respond to inquires. Thats why I am looking for another app. Also I am blind in one eye and its very hard to drive and look at my phone.
OK for anyone interested I found an app "Read Text 2me" that will read SMS and MMS tests upon receipt. It will also transmit to a connected bluetooth device. It has many other settings you can enable. Its free with ads but for $1.49 you can disable ads which I plan to do.
