How I can send video via mms text, WITHOUT lowering the quality. Is there an app or another way to do this? No, uploading to YouTube is not an option, I don't want videos of my kids floating around on the internet. The iPhone does this without all the hassle and this phone is far more superior, you'd think this would be simple

Are you using a third party messaging app? GoSms has that problem because I use it. But to send videos and pictures I use the stock messaging app ;)

Stock won't let me send anything video related unless I lower the quality which defeats the purpose cause the other person can't make out the video.. it becomes to pixelated. I tried go sms and haven't. Neither work :/

I'm pretty sure all carriers limit the amount of data you can send via MMS. You're better off uploading to Dropbox and sending a link. That way the videos will remain as private or public as you like. The video will stream to their phone in whatever quality you shot the video.

How come the Sprint iPhone doesn't have the issue? There's got to be an easier way. I don't even have drop box hah!

Thats one thing I wish i could find out how to do. Slimming down the resolution didn't help. One thing the fruity phone did do well on wifi but It's nothing that bothers me too much

It was a big deal at first cause I have two kids, one just born and family it off state. So sending her his videos periodically, ok everyday..was important haha. If you figure out it please let me know as I'll do the same

The funny thing is you can send a video if you pull up the contact and select attachment then when the menu comes down you select capture video then hit ssve. If you already have it saved it won't attach.

I have the same complaint and the iphone does NOT have this issue. I am beginning to regret my decision to switch.

I'd recommend that you find out what the video resolution is that the iPhone uses and then try the same resolution setting in the Camera app. Or you could try some of the other suggestions that were made. Or if it's a very important feature to you then see if you can switch to an iPhone.

Sprint and all carriers set limits to mms. They send thru sprint network so that's why the quality is bad. Had this issue before then just stopped trying to send videos they came out crappy on the recipients end.
