Mobile AP missing on Galaxy Tab

I currently have a Samsung Captivate as my personal phone, and just this week my company issued all of its employees Samsung Galaxy Tabs. Now, I know that the Galaxy Tab has an unlimited data plan from Sprint, so I thought I would set it up as an AP for my Captivate to connect through, so that I don't hit the ceiling of my limited AT&T data plan. I noticed, however, that where I typically go to set my Captivate as an AP is not there on the Tab (Settings->Wireless and network->Mobile AP). Is this, by chance, turned off by a configuration/setting in one of the SQLite files that someone can point me to?
