Mobile apps not working anymore?

Hello all. I am new here. I have had pretty good internet for the past two years. I consistently get about 12-15 mbs down and have about a 40 ms ping. I only use the internet on my phone as I have no computer. For the past two weeks I've had a weird problem. My speed tests by ookla and other test sites show I'm getting good speeds. However, YouTube, Facebook, rules of survival, etc will not load. The weird part is that I am able to use Facebook via the Browser but the app will not load. YouTube will also load fine if I load YouTube desktop on my phone and use the mobile site but the YouTube app will just set and buffer. No other mobile app will work either. However, loading things in Google Chrome works. I've reset my router. That didn't work. I am having a tech from my internet company come next week. I'm the mean time, have any of you had a similar situation?

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this from the Android Apps forum to the General Help forum, since the former is intended for developers to promote their apps.

You mentioned resetting your router, but also said that you only use internet on your phone (i.e., the phone's mobile data). A router is for wi-fi. So can you clarify what your setup is to access the internet?

Who's your wireless carrier?
