mobile charging only when switched off

hi i brought a faea f2s mobile it worked fine for3 months .,now igot a strange problem that my phone onlycharges when mobile is switched off only,can any one help to resolve my problem

I would say either a bad port, or, the battery is bad. TO be more specific, the battery can't accept enough of a charge while on to function, and replenish the battery.
