All devices connected to my home WiFi.
I was watching grandsons live ball game at <link removed by mod> on my Win 10 laptop.
After a while I tried on my Nokia 7.1, pie on T Mobile. Using Chrome the video would load the ad and stop. Never could get the live stream.
Tried it on my Windows 10 phone, no sim, and live stream played.
I see nothing in chrome settings that would prevent the live stream or in phone settings.
Site faq says it should play on mobile devices.
Any settings I need to check on the Nokia.

Are you sure that mobile data was disabled on the Nokia? It may have been streaming through mobile data, and not able to get a fast enough connection. (Try it with YouTube - it's the same streaming video.)

No, mobile data is always on and WiFi has plenty of bandwidth. Tried some you tube and they all played.
At the time I was trying to watch the same game on the Nokia all the time, never tried another, ads came up every time and it froze.
Went back this afternoon and tried to watch other games. Most opened and played, ads and the game. About 25% still never started the ad and didn't play.
Haven't tried other sites with videos.
So, I'll know what is going on the next time.
