I just upgraded from a galaxy s4 to the s6 for sprint. I cannot for the life of me get mobile data to work.
If I am not on wifi I cannot send a snapchat, or load any of my facebook games.
anything i should check?
mobile data is on, i get the "lte with the star" icon up top which means i have 4g lte and its currently idle.
i tried checking for push notifications or something but cannot find anything i'm missing, but every time I connect to wifi i get a bunch of app notifications

Suggested in another forum, I should check my "APN" settings...
anyone who the correct settings?

Brand new phone that doesn't work? Bring it back. You've already spent too much time on it. Let Samsung worry about it, you get a new one that works. (Check it out in the store before accepting it - there could be a box full of bad ones in that store.)

Im sure the more likely scanario is that i am missing some kind of setting somewhere. but i will bring it back to the sprint store and see what they say..

If you're on a call while trying its because Sprints newer phones do not allow simultaneous voice and data unless on WiFi. Now if this is an issue while your not using voice then it's got to be a settings/data issue.

It is not while on call. I went there today and they said "my signal must have not been strong enough"
So now I do not know what to do.

Is there a push notification setting that i am missing somewhere? or a mobile data setting? Is there more than one setting allowing mobile data?

No bring it back to them and demand they switch your phone. Saying your signal isn't strong enough is bull. There's a issue with the phone and they're trying to save face telling you its a poor signal issue. Do not let your 14 days pass or you'll have bigger issues. Even if you have to tell them you've compared it with other sprint phones and those worked fine. Wow that's horrible I can't believe they said that. Smh take it back and tell them you want a different one.
