Hi all:

I've looked for the answer and can't find it. With my Android Motorola 5G UW phone (it'll be a year old in less than two months, sadly), I have it selected where the mobile data on my phone is automatically switched whenever Wi-Fi isn't available, but it won't work and I've no idea why. Please help, I always appreciate it and I've included a pic of the area where the problem is.

Long press the power button untill power off shows on the screen then long press on the screen power off should turn into safe mode if your on Android 12/13
This disables 3rd party apps

What's the exact model of the phone? "5G UW" just tells you that the phone is capable of using the 5G ultra-wideband network.

You're saying you still haven't been able to boot successfully into Safe Mode? Or that you booted into Safe Mode and the problem is still happening?

I had it in 'Safe Mode' and I did what I thought I was instructed to do, but I truly feel I didn't do it correctly and I don't know what I did wrong. :cautious:

If you're in Safe Mode, you should see the words "Safe Mode" at the bottom of the screen. Also, any apps you installed (i.e., ones that didn't come preinstalled on the phone) will be greyed out and inaccessible.

Then, I did do it correctly; at least, that first part you've mentioned.

Ok, so while it's in Safe Mode, see if it hands off from wi-fi to mobile data successfully when the wi-fi signal is poor or unavailable.
Ohhh, so you're saying I should have it in 'Safe Mode' when I'm somewhere where there's either no Wi-Fi or it's very poor?🙏🛐
