I have another question.. this morning, I tried to turn my mobile data on. And it didn't come on.. and I haven't been able to get it to work for the rest of the day. I'm really not sure what is wrong.

Reboot? Otherwise you gotta give more information than "it wont turn on"...is there an error? How are you trying to turn it on? Can you provide a screen capture of what you're seeing?

I've rebooted many times. I go to settings, then wireless and networks, then mobile date, then then on "use packett data." I used to do this all the time, I would only turn it on when I needed it, but now it won't even turn on.

When you say it won't turn on, do you mean you can select the "Use Packet Data" with a check mark, but the data doesn't come on? Can you connect to wi-fi? Have you flashed any ROM's?

This may be an obvious one but, in settings under Wireless and Network, is Flight Mode checked?

I know...:), but I had to ask about Flight mode lol If you can get on w-fi, then it's probably a carrier issue. They're upgrading their network and I know of others who have experienced data issues because of it, or it might be an outage. I'd call AT&T and let them know you're having data issues. <edit> If it is them, can you let us know?

I will do that! I wasn't sure if maybe it was something I downloaded that shut it off, but I doubt it. I'll go to the at&t store and ask them about it.

You can also call AT&T CS. They seem to be very willing to help. I even think it might be better if you call because sometimes the sales people in the stores aren't all that knowledgeable. Well, the store here isn't that great, anyway. Yeah, if you couldn't get onto wi-fi, then it would most likely be your phone. Hope they can help:)

I did an online customer service chat, and they basically had me do everything that I had already tried, and then told me to do a factory reset. I didn't want to do that, but it seemed like I had to. I reset it, and now everything is fine. Thanks for all the help!

Awesome! I'm surprised that only your wifi was effected. That's how much I know! Thanks for letting us know. I sure learned something here. Glad it's working for you! :) I hate factory resets too, but I guess it's the only way sometimes.
