Mobile data turns on by itself

I've noticed my mobile data turns itself on randomly. I can't figure out what's causing it. Anyone else experiencing this?

Does it happen when you receive or a send a MMS message?

No. Just randomly. I usually have it off since I use Wi-Fi at home and turn it off when I'm not using it to save battery and data, but I've noticed it being on when I know I turned it off. And I don't have it set to switch between Wi-Fi and data to get the best connection.

I should say, yes, data turns on with MMS, but turns back off. It's just randomly turning on, like at night when everything is turned off and when I know I turned it off. It's causing me to use way more data than I usually use.

I don't have download booster activated. I only noticed this issue in the past week or so. And I haven't done or changed anything on my phone.

When you reset your phone a message like this should pop up. Press "set manually".
