I don't know if anyone else has had this issue, there are times when the mobile network seems to get turned off on its own. I check in Settings>Wireless & networks and the Mobile Networks checkbox is checked but grayed out and is stuck at Turning on.... If I restart the phone it's usually fixed, but this seems to be happening fairly often. Anyone else seen this on their phone? I'm in the Greater NYC are if that helps at all.

This is happening to me a lot too. Once I do have a connection, as long as I keep using the phone it seems to keep the connection. But if left idle for a while, it goes away. Sometimes the Mobile Networks checkbox even says it is on (not greyed out). But there is no connection. So I turn airplane mode on and off, and that usually does the trick. But this seems to be an issue that I hope is fixable.

Almost happened everyday in the morning when the phone was not used while I sleep.

I have to restart the phone to solve the problem.

Both of my tbolts were doing that, I downloaded the stock ruu and flashed it and for some reason that solved all the problems on both phones

Mine has had this issue the past couple days. I will go into Google talk or refresh my email and phone will say "no network connection" or something like that, even when the Mobile Networks checkbox is checked and green. It came back on it's own yesterday and everything started syncing again but I hope it's not a continuing issue.

What I have noticed is that the checkmark that disappears from the Mobile Network indicator seems to simply be the result of the signal strength. If you leave it on that page, move out of and into an area of coverage, you will see the Mobile Network checkmark come and go.

So, I don't think the "Mobile Network" setting is specifically the issue. I think it's losing the signal (for right or wrong reasons).

I have noticed that on my TB, if I check "connect" for mobile network then go into a web browser (ie: Dolphin)- as long as i stay inside the browser I stay connected. If I go to answer an email or text then come back to the browser- its disconnected and shows connection failed. I thought you were supposed to be able to multi-task with this thing? Apparently multi-task didnt include web surfing? Maybe Im doing something wrong. I love the phone, but it quickly looses mobile network connectivity by mearly going in/out of a browser? Anyone else experience this?

Edit: Btw, I am stationary when this happens and not that I am driving or going in/out of a coverage area.
