Hi All,
I am a newbie and this is my first post, please excuse me if I post this in wrong section.
I owned a G4 nearly a year. Recently, I carried a smart cleaning and since then I lost networks connections. The Mobile networks was grey out and I could not made/receive calls although every other functions work perfectly The networks not available notice shown on screen.
Steps taken so far :
>swapped sim cards - no fix
>Written to LG service who suggested a Hard reset, did the hard reset - no fix
>looked into Setting/"status" and discovered the IMEI/IMEI SV numbers were wiped out (unknown).
I have no clue what to do next. I need help from you experts to get my phone back in order. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

PS: I am sure if I can get the IMEI number re-entered into the phone, networks connection will be restored. But how ?

I found a way to restore IMEI number to my phone and restore networks connection. I like to share it with anyone who experiences the same problem.
>Turn off the phone
>Remove sim card from phone
>Turn phone back on
>Dial *#06# and press call button
>imei number will show on screen
>check setting/status to confirm imei number
>restart the phone with sim card insert to confirm networks connectivity
Problem solved.

something weir going on with my G4. After fixing the IMEI number and regained my network connection. it was going fine for a few days. Then it happened again. I tried the same trick and regain network connection.
The only thing I did was to allow the phone battery to run down to a point where it shuts down.
Any feedback greatly appreciated.
