I don't normally support anything by Samsung(besides their awesome TV's) and Tizen, like Touch wizz is ugly IMHO. BUT I applaud Samsung for doing this, the more choice in the phone market the better.

Pretty much sums up my opinion.

Anyone heard of Jolla`s Sailfish OS?
Its basically a OS, made by former Nokia employees, that are working on rebuilding the abandoned Meego Mobile OS.
This is actually a gesture-based OS, like Ubuntu Touch, and Blackberry 10.

The UI isn't 'pick up and go' like some some OS`s, which could be a deal breaker to some.
I can't judge the OS, without using it first, though.
I heard it will have a 'Dalvik layer', so it emulate some Android apps.

It is, but BB10 has somewhat, emulated some apps at great speeds.
Not sure if that is emulation.
