I'm hoping for a follow-up to the Pixel-C. I'm getting to be in need of a new tablet and would rather avoid Samsung.

Cool, thanks for the feedback! I like the P10 but might wait a little longer for the Zenfone Zoom 3 myself.

Thanks for the link Jason Andrews!

Having used an LG G3 prior to switching to my Honor 8, I'm really looking forward to seeing what LG brings to the table this year. Hoping they knock it out of the park with the G6! I'm excited to see the actual device and its bezel-display ratio.

Have you seen the new S8 leaks? It looks similar to the G6.

Regarding the S8, the recent leaks about possible on-screen navigation buttons give me some reason to hope that Samsung may finally have decided to make the positions of those buttons customisable, as LG for example has long made possible. If so, and I can set them to bottom left for Back, I shall be able to consider buying a Sammie for the first time....price permitting. :)

Interesting, I hope it turns out like that so that the buttons are customizable for you ) Are you looking for a new smartphone too? They would be set for you..

Or something different?

Yes, what you describe is what I'm used to. Sammie's bottom right for Back is the only reason - the only one - that I have never bought one.

I'm not a huge fan of physical buttons or buttons of the like on my phone that I can't customize. At least on my G3, I could tweak my software buttons if I needed to. But Samsung's "back" button actually really annoys me. It's not something that I would use often.

I've seen a few pictures! It definitely looks gorgeous, and I do see some resemblance, for sure! Excited to hear about both!

Cool, I'm excited to hear what you get, how it works, etc..

We should all start a post MWC thread & talk about any devices we might get, Belodion too.

As of now, I think I'm leaning towards the Zenfone 3 Zoom.

Oh yeah I'm also excited about the bezel size/screen to body ratio. Maybe even more so w/ future releases as they push the limits even further a la Xiaomi's Mi Mix.

I'm not planning on buying any right now, as I bought an Honor 8 around Christmastime, but I'm always on the lookout for what phone to get next! I miss LG so I might get the G6 later on! Feel free to start a thread if you would like! I'll be sure to comment! :)

Ahhh yes, Zenfone... I almost got the Zenfone 3. It was neck and neck between that and the Honor 8. Really like Asus and their Zenfone line! The Zoom sounds amazing!

Re: Excited Smartphones launch During MWC 2017

Personally I am mostly interested to see how*Samsung Galaxy 8 will*look like, as*Samsung has the biggest influence on the market and also it seems that this won't be just a small update as in the previous year. But unfortunately according to the news Samsung has decided this year not to release the phone on MWC, so*I guess that we'll have to look only on what*others have.

My personal guess is that there won't be too many surprises, as competition is fierce and companies have accumulated quite a lot of losses (except Samsung).

I'm pretty much "meh" about this year's MWC. I don't see anything really revolutionary or compelling that will make me upgrade from my S7.

The Honor 8 :D... That phone looks beautiful. Love the blue version. How's it treating you? What made you choose the Honor 8 over the 1+3, smaller build?

I'm on the same page with you about the Asus' Zenfones. I want a great camera over everything else & the Zoom 3 seems to have that. I'm a little torn because there's also the P10, Mate 9, plus you can't rule out the S8 or G6. I wonder how they all compare? I would love a deep & complex pro mode like the Mate 9 too. That's super important too. What do you think or think I should do? Right now my idea is to go with the Zoom 3 & then maybe see about selling it once the Note 8 comes out?

It's a wonderful and beautiful device! Well, I was looking at specifically the Honor 8 versus the Zenfone 3 - they have similar specs and both intrigued me over the OnePlus - but the Honor 8 won out. Newegg had great deals on either device but I'm happy with my choice. However, it was super tough - I had to make a pro-con list!

You could definitely do what you suggested in your post - it sounds like you really want the Zoom 3, so go for it if you do! Plus, perhaps you won't like the S8 after all when it comes out (you never know, right?); so at least then you'll have a great phone already. I've heard good things about Asus - it's a reliable brand and their phone line seems to be no exception!

Good luck, and let us know what you decide!
